Look at all those great outdoors scenes. Its Black and White, yet the sun shines through and is always uplifting.
With so many movies set outdoors, I came up with an idea where all around Athens and Attica a series of still frames from famous films could be placed to indicate the spot where the scene was filmed.
I think that is the last thing on everyone's mind in Greece at the moment.

Savva,
I was always stunned by the wide streets and boulevards devoid of all the choking traffic. Athens was cleaner and on a much more human scale. Most of all there was space. Progress is sometimes illusory.

Perhaps like Los Angeles must have been in the old days. Go to youtube and look at some of the old vision. Type in Pacific Electric.
