It's strange that the dirge-like, indigenous music of the Epirus region of Greece and especially its primary instrument, the clarinet, have always held a strange attraction for me. While most non-Greeks and even many Greeks go running for the door when they hear its strange, mournful melodies, it stirs something deep inside my soul. I came across this video by a young Greek musician from Toronto named Yiorgo and I had to share it with MGO readers.
