The Joys of Greek Dance

Greeks derive great joy from their music and dance.  Greek folk dancing entails unique and distinctive group dances from every region where Greeks have traditionally lived in large numbers including areas where there is no longer a Greek presence such as Pontus and Asia Minor. The clip below is an example of Cretan dancing. It starts out slow but hang on, by the time it ends your heart will be pounding, even if your sitting down.
